Robert Half Systems Analyst in Worcester, Massachusetts

Description We are in need of a Systems Analyst to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our IT department, managing the administration and implementation of new software releases. You will also be responsible for ensuring that software quality assurance is applied to IT projects while meeting project objectives and deliverables. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and validate manufacturing systems in a GMP Environment.

• Provide general lab instrument software and PC support encompassing instruments and software.

• Experience with operating systems, networking components, data integrity, data security and database structures is necessary.

• Apply analytical thinking skills to diagnose and make recommendations on system issues.

• Work effectively with team/group to accomplish organizational goals.

• Decommission lab instrument software for new upgrades.

• Develop test/validation plans and conduct the necessary tests to confirm functional and design requirements.

• Support IT projects and ongoing activities supporting existing applications.

• Ensure that software quality assurance is applied to IT projects while meeting project objectives and deliverables.

• Develops system and validation support for IT projects and ongoing activities supporting existing applications.

• Deployments Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Systems Analysis, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.

• Proficient in Database and DB2 Database management systems.

• Strong familiarity with EO/IR systems.

• Experience with IBM and Microsoft systems.

• Proven skills in AB Testing and Business Requirement Document creation.

• Knowledge of Computer Hardware is necessary.

• Experience in Configuration Management.

• Proven track record in managing and executing software Deployments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.

• Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
