The Reporter will cover intellectual property (IP) issues in Japan. This includes how is has an impact on international companies both in the domestic and global markets. Major themes include patents, copyrights and trademarks, and the laws in Japan related topics

Responsibilities

• Writing exclusive analysis on IP litigation in Japanese courts involvingforeign companies; major policy disputes, and rules and regulations relating to Intellectual Property

• Covering legislative, regulatory actions, trends & enforcementinvolving IP

• Covering several areas of Japan IP from Judicial to government.

• Covering major corporate developments involving IPissues

Requirements

• Conducting in-depth research and analysis on IP-related topics.

• Possess excellent writing and reporting skills

• Be capable of building and maintaining relationships with key industrystakeholders

• Be proficient in Japanese and English.
