Job Description

An employer in Sarasota, Florida is looking for an AVP, Legal and Compliance. This role will be on-site in Sarasota, Florida! This person will:

Manage a team of four compliance specialists as well as one Director of Compliance

Review and negotiate contracts with vendors

Act as the head of Risk Management Committee and manage Risk Management for the organization in its entirety

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of experience of related experience as an attorney in the insurance industry (property and casualty) as well as experience with Risk Management

Juris Doctor Degree and admitted to the State Bar

Extensive experience with corporate risk management and litigation

Highly adaptable and excellent communication

Experience with reviewing and negotiation contracts with external vendors null
