Ihre Aufgaben

• Primärer Ansprechpartner für unsere internen Teams, um sie bei der Einführung ihrer Änderungen in die Produktion zu unterstützen.

• Sicherstellung der Produktion, während Teams ihre Änderungen implementieren.

• In dieser Rolle haben Sie die Möglichkeit, mit einem hochmotivierten Team zu arbeiten, das wirklich agil an der Spitze der Technologie steht, indem Sie eine 24/7-Produktionsumgebung aufrechterhalten.

• Sie planen Release-Fenster und -Zyklen über ein Portfolio von Mikroservices für ein Payment Gateway und stellen sicher, dass Anwendungs-Releases termingerecht und innerhalb des Budgets geliefert werden und die Erwartungen erfüllen oder übertreffen.

• Vor Releases führen Sie Bereitschaftsprüfungen, Meilensteinprüfungen und Business Go/No-Go-Überprüfungen durch und treiben die technischen Teams dazu, Implementierungspläne, Runbook-Updates und Bereitstellungsdokumentationen rechtzeitig vorzubereiten.

• Sie stehen in ständigem Kontakt mit unseren Architekten/Ingenieuren, um die Auswirkungen und Risiken von Release-Branches, Code-Zusammenführungen und Änderungen zu verstehen.

• Als Implementierungsmanager koordinieren Sie Release-Inhalte und -Aufwand basierend auf dem Serviceanforderungs-Backlog, ausstehenden Serviceanforderungen, Drittanbieteranwendungen oder Betriebssystem-Updates.

Was Sie mitbringen sollten

• BS/BA in Informatik oder verwandtem Bereich oder gleichwertige Erfahrung. Master-Abschluss in Informatik bevorzugt.

• Über 8 Jahre Erfahrung in Release- und/oder Projektmanagement (Gutes Verständnis der Projektmanagementprinzipien bevorzugt).

• Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse des Softwareentwicklungslebenszyklus, Erfahrung im agilen SDLC in einer großen Organisation.

• Fähigkeit, funktionsübergreifende Arbeitsteams in einer heterogenen und verteilten Umgebung zur Aufgabenerfüllung zu koordinieren.

• Fähigkeit, unabhängig zu arbeiten und mehrere Aufgaben effektiv zu bearbeiten, sich selbst und andere zur Aufgabenerfüllung zu treiben.

What does a successful Technical Release Manager do?

As a Technical Release Manager at Fiserv, you will be the driving force behind seamless production changes, ensuring the safety and stability of our 24/7 production environment. Collaborate with a dynamic, agile team at the forefront of technology, planning release windows and cycles for our Payment Gateway microservices. Your expertise in coordinating release content, conducting readiness reviews, and managing implementation plans will ensure on-time, budget-friendly application releases that exceed expectations. What will you do:

• Primary primary point of contact for our internal teams, guiding them to bring their changes into the production.

• Safeguard production while teams implement their changes.

• In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated team, truly agile on leading edge of technology by maintaining a 24/7 production environment.

• You plan release windows and cycles across a portfolio of microservices for a Payment Gateway and you make sure, that application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations.

• In front of releases, you conduct release readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews and you drive the technical teams to prepare Implementation Plans, Runbook Update and Deployment documentation in time

• You are in steady contact with our architects/engineers to understand impact and risk of release branches, code merges and changes

As an Implementation manager you coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates.

What you will need to have

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. Master degree in Computer Science preferred.

• 8+ years of previous release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)

• Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle, experience in Agile SDLC in a large organization

• You are able to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion in a heterogenous and distributed environment

• You are able to work independently and multitask effectively, drive yourself and other towards task completion

What would be great to have

• You have worked before in an agile development environment and you are familiar with the PI Planning process and to are able to understand how to align the development to deliver effective towards a PI and Release

• You have experience in working with a multi locational matrix organisation where technology teams and delivery is done across multiple teams and locations
