Social Media Specialist (UGC Focus) - Contract (Atlanta, GA)

Do you love social media and have a knack for spotting engaging user-generated content (UGC)?

We're seeking a passionate Social Media Specialist with a keen eye for UGC to join our team in a dynamic contract role (through September, with potential extension). This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working remotely 3 days a week, with 2 days spent collaborating onsite at our Atlanta, GA office.

What you'll do:

• Develop and execute engaging social media content calendars across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)

• Source, curate, and leverage high-quality UGC to build brand authenticity and audience trust

• Craft compelling captions, stories, and other social media content to drive engagement

• Manage community interactions, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner

• Analyze social media performance metrics and report on key insights to inform strategy

• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices

  Requirements

What you bring to the table:

• 1+ years of experience in social media marketing

• Proven experience sourcing, curating, and implementing UGC in social media campaigns

• Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong understanding of social media copywriting

• A creative eye for compelling visuals and storytelling

• Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• A collaborative spirit and a passion for building brand communities

Bonus points for:

• Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads)

• Knowledge of specific industries relevant to our company (please specify in your cover letter)

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro)
