Job Summary

We are looking for a Project Management Specialist who will be responsible for the projects in Qingpu Plant for Pressure Management. The role will coordinate with partners, customers and project teams to engage, understand and initiate the projects and to give resolutions for business. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Internal project orders management:

● Take ownership of project orders’ execution throughout the whole cycle: Kick-off, technical requirement clarification, engineering design, materials sourcing, manufacturing, customer required inspection, delivery and shipping, after-sales complaint etc., to achieve project success in terms of schedule, cost and quality target.

●Project initiating: Tier 3 project, early engagement for technical scope clarification and virtual project team building, giving the comprehensive project ideas to the team, participate in key process of core project team members.

● Project planning: Review project requirement to ensure feasibility of supply scope, identify potential execution risks related to engineering design, material sourcing, fabrication tooling, test equipment, customer inspection, certification compliance, packing and transportation, and project documentations, propose risk mitigation action with owner and deadline.

Project execution and control:

●Track project execution progress, make identified risks to be mitigated before deadline, facilitate upstream to downstream handover to ensure each activity proceeded smoothly and avoid any waste in queue. Escalate risk to leaders in time.

●Track project cost and expense, implement quotation strategy for GP uplift, utilize change order opportunity to improve project GP. Keen insight of cost reduction opportunity, take strong leadership to

coordinate with cross functions to implement.

Project closing and reporting:

●Conduct closure meeting for Tie 3 project, share and record best practice and lesson learnt to improve future project execution efficiency.

●Set up effective communication with different stakeholders, and actively provide project reporting, such as: customer project progress report, project schedule, project OTD report, project forecast & GP analysis etc..

●Post-delivery support: Assist PMO to handle any post-delivery complaint in time to mitigate LD risk and improve customer satisfaction with product & service.

●Active involvement in continue improvement and simplification the process through execution period.

●Other assignments assigned by direct manager.

You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You understand that different situations may call for different approaches.

For This Role, You Will Need:

●Bachelor’s degree with professional background in Science and Engineering or equivalent experience..

●3 years or above customer’s project management related work experience, Valves Industry experience is preferred.

●Strong organization and planning skills.

●Excellent communication skills both in English and Mandarin.

●Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

●Customer oriented, can work under pressure.

●A fast learner, and desire for new knowledge & skills.

●Be familiar with project management operation procedures of foreign invested company.

●Strong written and oral communications skills in English .

●Comfortable working in a shared service & matrix environment.

●Ability to maintain good working relationship with partners and work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

●Proficient with ERP systems (Oracle) & Microsoft suite.

●PMP presentation skill will be added advantage.
