This position reports into Engineering Manager and is based at Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

What You Will Do

The position is responsible for:

• Positions at this level are professionals, who are team leader / members of critical initiatives. These positions often provide instruction or supervision to lower-level engineers and professionals, and/or manage routine processes and sets of tasks.

• Positions at this level contribute to delivering critical work within larger projects or initiatives includes local and regional initiations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead / Support project / assignment and any global and regional project for the qualification of packaging material including design, testing, trial and process related to responsible franchise and assure all projects and assignments will be executed and completed within due date.

• Project team leader / member to provide technical input related to packaging material and process.

• Manages processes and ensures that activity goals are achieved

• Supporting the investigation related to packaging material / process.

• Uses expertise to improve operational efficiencies and meet compliance requirements

• Compiles and analyzes data, identifies causes, draws conclusions, generates reports

• May act as team leader and/or mentor junior engineers/professionals and/or trainer

• Responsible for maintaining compliance, consistency of practices and work quality

• Create and executed the innovated idea related to packaging material and process.

• Team leading and coaching to their subordinate

• Execute the assigned packaging related project and any global and regional project launch on time without quality issue.

• No recall and significant regulatory issue

• Meet target date on the tasks assigned

• Managing the documentation.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Science or Chemical Engineering from a reputable university preferably with excellence academic background

• Experience in quantitative and qualitative testing of packaging material

• Experience in training or working in a manufacturing environment

• Strong communication skill with leadership abilities. Good coordination and interpersonal skills.

• Good command of written and spoken English together with computer literacy.
